Fun Fact: This boro Vest was dyed with natural indigo and made with boro sashiko patching over a long period of time since the 1900 Meiji Period. It was found from the Misaki 三崎 Ehime Region of Japan. It was passed down from generation to generation by a family in the village who were fishermen. It is a unique piece with various colour of indigo fabric and it has some weight to it. One-of-a-kind, this vest is in excellent boro condition & museum grade. It can be worn both sides (reversible) or to be hung up for display.

CONDITION: Moderate used and washed. Not Fragile. Colour nicely faded, there are some small holes & loose thread (excellent antique boro condition).
